My annual trip to mardi gras with
Evangelist David Cobb proved to be another exciting and productive
time of street evangelism and ministry. "Anything goes at mardi gras!"
" do what you feel! except one thing.................? Talk about
Jesus or carry a cross! That offends people! Isn't that amazing! Of
all the ludicrous displays of conduct at a party that is based on
the advent of the resurrection of Christ (Easter)............... and
the cross is the one symbol that offends people.
I spoke with many people and saw
God's great love and conviction working in peoples lives. Jesus came
to save us from our sins! Are you saved from your sins? Are you
really free? What does the cross mean to you?
